You are a Roman cook who has been told to prepare a meal to impress an important guest.
Write a menu card in English which gives details of the food and drinks. You can do it on computer or by hand.
Do not forget that there are 3 courses, so give a variety for each one.
Remember to include wine – either chilled or sweetened!
Do not use any
ingredients that were unavailable to the Romans: so no tomatoes, potatoes,
pizza, pasta, crisps, chips, ice cream, beer, tea, coffee or chocolate. No Giraffe.
