Bring into the exam: Sharp pencil, ruler, rubber, coloured pencils, black pen (fine liner is preferable but a black biro will be ok).
Areas to revise:
- Famous bridges
- Bridge structures and triangles V's squares
- Types of wood (soft/hardwood)
- Wood finishes
- Wood joints (Mitre joints/finger joints)
- How to engrave/marquetry a lid design onto wood (ensure you know the names for the tools in 2D design)
- The names/recognise all of the tools you have used in the workshop
- Drawing/sketching in 3D and applying shading (you should practice some basic shapes before the exam)
REVISION
You will need to look through your powerpoint work on BOX/books to help you make notes on the topics we have covered over the year.
