In order to use your Ladies College BYOD device at Elizabeth College there is a brief setup process you must follow to access WiFi, print to Elizabeth College printers and to access the Elizabeth College apps portal, Onelogin. These steps are detailed in the video below and we encourage students to complete this process before attending Elizabeth College. Connecting to EC WiFi can only be done whilst you're at Elizabeth College but the rest of the steps can be completed from anywhere, as long as your device has access to the internet.
Before you begin, be sure to have your Elizabeth College login details to hand. These are emailed to your Ladies College email account before you begin Year 12.
As you will see in the video, one of the the first steps is to install the Elizabeth College Smoothwall Certificate, which can be found at the bottom of this page. Both Elizabeth College and Ladies College use Smoothwall to filter web content and monitor what users are accessing online. In order to access the internet at either school via a BYOD device, a digital certificate, which is specific to each school, needs to be installed on the device. The certificate allows the system to identify the student using the computer and monitor / filter webpages whilst its connected to school WiFi , depending on their age. Smoothwall only monitors internet usage whilst the device is connected to school WiFi. Devices will not be able to access online content properly without the certificate.
Important: Ladies College students need in download and install the "EC Smoothwall Certificate 2024" to access WiFi at Elizabeth College. Elizabeth College students need to download and install the "LC Smoothwall Certificate 2024" to access WiFi at The Ladies College.
