The exam will be a listening exam.

You will be asked to:

• Identify songs, intervals, rhythms
  
• Dictate rhythms and pitches (including fa and ti)
  
• Define terms or give appropriate terms
• Identify types of music
• Identify metre/tonality

Material will be based on musicianship songs and on listening materials used this year.  Key topics have included:

triplets          compound time       accompaniment & two part work     minor tonalities
