Assessment

Friday 17th May - Chemistry Paper 1, am

Paper 1 assesses: Atomic structure and the periodic table; Bonding, structure, and the properties of matter; Quantitative chemistry, Chemical changes; and Energy Changes (including Electrolysis).

Please note the topic numbers vary between the textbook, the specification and things like Century/Seneca learning.

Tuesday 11th June - Chemistry Paper 2 FT, am

Paper 2 assumes you know the first few chapters from Paper 1 which include Fundamentals, Periodic Table, Bonding and Quantitative Chemistry. It then also assesses the topics of: The rate and extent of chemical change; Organic chemistry; Chemical analysis, Chemistry of the atmosphere; and Using resources. Please note the topic numbers vary between the textbook, the specification and things like Century/Seneca learning.
